I love Mimi's! It's one of the best ice creams in the area I have had. So creamy and tastes so fresh, you can basically taste the real ingredients. They have many different, unique flavors to try. I recommend the Coffee Oreo or the Peanut Butter Chocolate for chocolate lovers. But of course, you can't go wrong with any flavor. The shop is clean and nicely decorated. The service is quick and attentive just as you would hope for in an ice cream shop. Never skip out on Mimi's ice cream!

I really enjoyed the ice cream here. It is a pretty small shop, but they had a good selection of unique flavors, such as ube, Thai ice tea, and cookie monster. I ordered the super Oreo ice cream. The ice cream itself was super smooth, and it was on the softer side. The ice cream had a sweet cream taste to it, which I liked. It was very creamy, and it was the perfect texture in my opinion. It had a good amount of oreos in it too. The service was very okay. The lady that served us was pretty unfriendly, but nothing too offensive. I also felt like the portion could have been bigger. The one scoop I ordered was barely different than the kiddie scoop. But based on the ice cream, I would definitely come back to try other flavors. I enjoyed it quite a bit.

Service was great and location is awesome! Perfect place to stop by for a sweet treat Love that they have a little kids table for the little ones to sit and enjoy Not a lot of seating available inside but a bench. Flavors are spectacular and interesting. I like the lychee and ginger snow!

love the diverse and unique flavors at Mimi's! the ice creams are buttery soft and matches its flavor profile exactly. it's a cute small shop so if you want to eat indoors, it may be harder to find space. outdoors is better ! the service is very helpful, quick, and very welcoming ! for 21+ with valid ID, i believe they also have a separate menu for boozy ice cream

Mimi's Handmade Ice Cream has got to be one of my top favorite ice cream shops. My fiancé and I wanted to go out for some dessert on Sunday night - we had originally wanted Sweet Berry but didnt realize it closes at 8pm on Sundays.. Luckily we came found Mimi's Ice Cream through a google search and decided to check it out. The shop is super cute and located next to Falafel and across from Paputella. They've got over 30 flavors to choose from, so I'm sure you'll find something that interests you. I had a combo of Mint Chocolate and Chocolate Heaven, and it was sooo creamy and decadent! I also tried the Ube flavor, and it was packed with yummy ube goodness. My fiancé went for the Thai Tea scoop and loved it! The serving portion was pretty big (in my opinion); I didn't finish it and left mine in the freezer to finish later. My niece found it and ending up eating it all - she just wanted a bite but said it was so good that she had to finish it.. Total was about $12 for three scoops, which is a total steal. I can't wait to go back - I literally have been thinking about it ever since.

FOOD We ordered the durian and ube ice creams, and both were exceptional. The durian was perfectly balanced--not overly sweet, with a rich creaminess that really allowed the bold durian flavor to shine. The high durian-to-cream ratio made every bite worth savoring. The ube ice cream was equally impressive-- its creamy texture and depth of flavor shining through. We sampled their black sesame flavor as well, although it wasn't our cup of tea. I loved the flavor itself, but there were too many actual sesame seeds in the ice cream itself that made the texture less enjoyable for me. SERVICE The staff are kind and friendly! There's limited sampling, but my boyfriend and I tried two samples each before deciding on our flavors. AMBIANCE A lovely grab-and-go, mom-and-pop store! There's one table inside the store, but there are a couple of benches outside the shop. PARKING Ample parking is available in the garage near the store that is shared with all vendors at Mosaic (5-hour limit). FLAVOR RATINGS Snow Ginger: 10/10 if you love ginger; 7/10 if you don't Lychee: 10/10; I don't know how they encapsulate childhood in a spoon. Coffee Oreo: 10/10 the coffee flavor was very strong and the Oreo chunks plenty. Strawberry: 9/10; a solid strawberry flavor! I only wish it was a bit creamier. Ube: 10/10; the best Ube ice cream in the area. Incredibly flavorful and creamy. Durian: 10/10; the creamiest, most flavorful durian ice cream I've ever tasted in my life. And I speak as someone who's made it before. I can't capture the durian flavor as well as they have while maintaining the creaminess of their ice cream.

Delicious ice cream with 30+ flavors with some really unique ones (Black Sesame, Ube, Italian Ricotta, Horchata), and boozy adult flavors (Bailey's, Eggnog, Kahlua). After sampling some of these unique flavors, I'm glad I landed on the Matcha and Super Oreo. The Matcha and Super Oreo were divine and paired really well together in a split scoop (2 flavors in a single scoop). It's pretty rare to get split scoop now-a-days. The Super Oreo definitely delivered with Oreo cookies in every bite and the Matcha balanced out the sweetness and gave the flavor more depth. Note the ice cream shop opens around noon. Excited to come back to try the fall line-up of flavors!

I got a single scoop of ube - really delicious and rich ube flavor, with some nice chunks of ube, but the ice cream consistency wasn't my favorite. It was the stretchy type of ice cream, so it wasn't as creamy as I would like it to be. Some chunks were icy, too. But I still enjoyed it and recommend stopping by if this is what you prefer! They have a lot of unique and fun flavors and the service was quick. Note: the shop itself is small/narrow and there is no where to eat inside.

You can never go astray with dessert! A small ice cream shop that offers a wide range of Asian flavors! My husband and I decided to take a leisurely stroll at Mosaic one evening. We couldn't help but notice that many people were enjoying ice cream. With the hot weather, we definitely needed something sweet and cold. We headed over to the corner and found an ice cream shop that's similar to any other grab-and-go place, but with incredibly unique flavors, especially if you have a sweet tooth for Asian treats. I absolutely adore it and hope others can experience the same joy!

Mimi's Handmade Ice Cream is an interesting place. I have never been to a ice cream shop where you could get alcoholic ice cream such as Bailey's Irish, Rum Raisian, Kahlua Coffee, ect... That's really enticing but I was here to try out a very common flavor; Mint Chocolate Chip. There's a lot of other flavors here too, and I mean like at least over 20+ for sure. I could just sample all of the flavors but at some point I'd made my decision right? Anyways.. I got the Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream. I thought the portion size was great for what you are getting, though I would probably just get two scoops since it seems perfect enough. They did not have a waffle cone when I went but it's okay, I still enjoyed my ice cream though. Check it out if you like ice cream!
